Glenn Beck Predicts

Glenn Beck is a Mormon soothsayer who pretends to be a regular Christian in order to rope in more suckers. He boasts that he has never been wrong about anything and that all of his predictions come true.

He made this video in October 2013:

Original video here:

It is now October 2015
The two years are up

Not one of the predictions were fulfilled
Not one of the skeptics were surprised.

Jesus Loves The Little Children

A naked woman screaming “We’re all going to die!” held her 6-month-old baby girl out a Bronx sixth-floor window on Thursday, then released her — letting the child plunge to her death onto the concrete below, police said.

Screaming “Praise the Lord” and “Hallelujah,” a naked Tenisha Fearon, 27, dangled Junilah Lawrence out her top-floor window on Tiebout Ave. near E. 182nd St. in Fordham before dropping the girl about 1:30 p.m., panicked 911 callers told police.

As police were taking her away, the mom said “the devil is in her.”

News Reporting In Australia Just Got Worse

This story in the Melbourne Herald-Sun refers to an incident that happened in America:
Bizarre ... Jennifer Connell is suing her 12-year-old nephew for accidentally breaking her wrist.

AN aunt is suing her 12-year-old nephew who accidentally broke her wrist while greeting her — because she now struggles to hold a plate of canapés.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/world/

These are some of the comments from Australian readers:
  • This is not just a US thing, it happens here in Australia and has done for years.
  • American legal system was always stupid, but this one takes the cake. Only in America!
  • How ridiculous.  Why is everything about money? How could an 8 year old know that what he did would be unsafe. The majority of people are to quick to sue these days.  The woman should just accept that it was an accident, stop complaining and get on with life.

Obviously the reporter and the commentors have no idea how the insurance business operates. How else can anyone get compensation unless they sue the person who caused the injury. You can't sue the lady down the street - she had nothing to do with the accident. You have to sue the person who caused the injury. That person then hands over the details to their insurance company and the case goes to court. There is no other reasonable way to do it.

If I accidentally broke my aunt's wrist the first thing I would say to her is, "Don't you pay a cent for doctor's fees. I'm fully insured so go ahead and sue me for as much as you need. My insurance company will pay whatever the court decides. That's why I always pay my premiums; to cover situations exactly like this."

I Worked It Out All On My Own

When I was about five years old mum weighed my brother and me on the Jockey Scales in the local chemist shop (this was back in the 1950s). Mum told us our weights and then explained that my little brother was four pounds lighter than me.

I was keen to let mum know I had grasped the point she was making and understood it completely: "So that means I'm four pounds darker than he is."

Ignorance Is Bliss

Human life and a complex universe are powerful indicators of creation, Americans say. In a survey of 1,000 Americans, LifeWay Research found almost 8 in 10 (79 percent) believe the existence of human life means someone created it, while 72 percent think the organization of the universe shows a creator’s design.

Might be time to upgrade the US education system.
