Hopes And Dreams

Here's a picture of the Strack family from a few years ago. The children were probably already talking about the things they would like to do when they were all grown up, but they never got the chance to fulfil those dreams because mummy and daddy killed them on September 27, 2014.

Apparently they were worried about all the evil in the world, and feared the apocalypse was coming, so they decided to protect themselves and their children by having everyone drink poison!

I wonder if mummy and daddy were atheists or Christians?

Todd Starnes Knows What Jesus Would Do

Chris Kyle was an American sniper for the Navy SEALS with 160 confirmed kills, although he liked to boast that he had killed 250 people. He was a well known liar who once claimed that he had beaten up Jesse Ventura in a bar in 2006. Ventura sued him for defamation and was awarded $1.8 million compensation.

Kyle also told reporters that in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina he had climbed onto the roof of the Superdome and spent a pleasant afternoon shooting looters in the back - about 30 of them! I've often wondered how he was able to differentiate between looters stealing goods, and legitimate homeowners who were rescuing goods from their own house and transporting them to a safer place. (Actually it's a waste of time wondering, because nothing of the sort ever happened. Kyle was telling lies.)

In 2012 Kyle wrote a book (American Sniper) about his exploits in Iraq but people who knew him said that a lot of his stories were complete and utter bullshit.

Clint Eastwood produced a movie based on the book, but Kyle never got to see it, because Eddie Routh shot him in the head before the movie was released.

A lot of film critics panned the movie; not because it was poorly made (it wasn't) but because it was touted as a true story whereas, in fact, much of it was pure invention based on lies told by the sociopathic Kyle.

So here's Todd Starnes defending the liar and claiming that shooting looters in the back is exactly the sort of thing that Jesus would do. (And Christians get offended when their religion is sometimes described as a death cult!)

The people in this documentary are not raving lunatics who have lost their mind and are spewing hatred against the world. They are ordinary Christians - businessmen, fathers, mothers, homemakers, preachers, and factory hands - yet they casually agree that "Yes, if god asks me to kill my children then I will not hesitate. Do you see now, why I laugh when some religious fraud tells me that I can't be good without god.

The Religion Of Peace vs The God Of Love

In March, 2013, Michel Djotodia, backed by the Islamic Seleka rebels, became President of the Central African Republic. His Muslim followers immediately went on the rampage against the Christian majority, killing and torturing thousands of citizens.

In 2014 Djotodia lost the presidency and the Seleka rebels found themselves outnumbered by a Christian militia called anti-balaka. Those devout Christians are now killing and torturing the Muslims.

If you want to know what it would be like to live in a country ruled by devout religious folk who base their lives on the religion of peace and the god of love, then take a look at the following pictures.

Make no mistake; these are not atrocities committed by barbarians for political reasons. These are atrocities committed by ordinary people who think they are working in the service of the Lord: Muslims in the name of Allah, and Christians in the name of Jesus. One preaches peace, the other preaches love, and both sides kill each other every day.

And when the killing is over for the day, they toddle off to the the local church or mosque where the priests and Imams absolve them of their sins, and give them dispensation to do more of the same tomorrow.

Healing The Sick

I found this story in an article written by Bert Farias for Charisma News:

A young student came to my house to explain to me why she hadn't been to Bible school for a couple of weeks. A log had fallen on her leg and fractured it. The leg was stiff and she couldn't bend it. She had no money or insurance to put a cast on it.

I laid hands on her leg and commanded her to move it and bend it. At first she grimaced in pain, but I kept telling her to move it because the power of God was in her leg and was working. After about the third or fourth time she began to weep.

The pain was gone and she was able to bend her leg perfectly.

She wept some more. As I bid farewell to her I saw her from out of the window of my house walking down the dusty road we lived on with her hands up in the air praising God.

I can't think why Bert Farias was so impressed to see the girl walking down the dusty road. It was only a short while earlier that she had walked up the same dusty road to visit him in his house. She hadn't written him a letter explaining her absence from bible school; she hadn't asked a friend to deliver the message; she hadn't called Farias on the telephone; she hadn't driven her own car to his house. She had walked up that dusty road all on her own, and now she was walking back down the same road.

Clearly her leg was not stiff enough, nor painful enough, to prevent her walking up to the house, so it is not surprising that she was able to also walk away from the house a short time later.

Sure, now that I've mentioned it, Farias will start adding more details to the story in an effort to explain the situation. He might say that the student was brought to the house in a friend's car but the friend had to leave early - which didn't matter because, after the healing, the student no longer needed the friend's help. Farias might say that. I wouldn't believe him.

Have you ever noticed that all these faith healing stories contain no checkable details:

• When did it happen? We don't know.
• Who was the student? We don't know.
• Was the leg really fractured? We don't know.
• Can we contact the student and ask for details? No we cannot. 
• Does she verify the story Farias tells us? No she doesn't.
• So is it a true story or a lie? Probably a lie.

OK, I know I'm a Grumpy Old Fart, but check out the soundtrack that is running in the background during this documentary. Can you blame me for complaining about it?

That's just 40 seconds, but the whole episode is like that! Forty-five minutes of drum machines going boom, boom, boom, along with a four piece string band squawking away in the background, and drowning out everything said by the characters appearing on screen.

That's one minute! The other 45 minutes were just as bad. I guess there is a reason for drowning out the commentary with extremely loud drum machines but I'm fucked if I know what it is.

You Can't Be Good Without God Ask Heather Cook, She'll Tell You

Back in 2010 this fat slob was stopped by police for erratic driving. On the front seat beside her she had open bottles of booze, a bag of marijuana, and a bong - and her clothes were covered with her own stinking vomit! Her breath test gave an 0.27 reading; more than three times the legal limit. She was so drunk she didn't even know that a front tire had burst and disintegrated, and she had been riding on the rim long before the police finally stopped her.

But she was a preacher in the Episcopalian Church and the police decided she was probably a nice enough person, so they downgraded her offenses to driving under the influence and she copped a $300 fine.

Four years later the Episcopalian hierarchy considered her alcoholism and figured it didn't matter very much - so they promoted her to bishop and rewarded her with a salary of more than $120,000 per year.

Three months after her promotion, this god-fearing Christian was drunk behind the wheel again; weaving all over the road and typing a text message into her phone - until she hit a man on a bicycle. She quickly assessed the situation; decided it would not look good for an Episcopalian bishop to be caught drink-driving for the second time, so she hit the accelerator and headed home, leaving the cyclist to die in the gutter!

A spokesperson for the church tried to make excuses for the killer; saying she had simply panicked and that as soon as she calmed down (about half an hour later) she returned to scene of the crime to see if there was anything she could do to help.

What the spokesperson failed to mention though, was that other cyclists had witnessed the accident, followed her home, and then called the police to tell them where she lived. It was only then; only when the killer realized she could not escape; only then did she decide the time had come to offer assistance to the cyclist - but it was too late. He was dead.

The church spokesperson also claimed that the bishop hadn't stopped because she wasn't actually sure that she'd hit anyone:

This photo of her car after the accident suggests that she might have had a faint idea that something serious had happened. Or to put it another way: The bishop is a liar and she was just trying to figure out an excuse - any excuse - that she might be able to use to avoid responsibility for her deadly actions.

At the moment she is unable to raise bail and is still in jail awaiting trial on manslaughter charges.

Update: A friend of Cook has paid $35,000 cash and promised to make regular payments of $1,000 per month until $250,000 has been posted, so the killer is back on the streets.

My guess is that other friends of Cook will eventually convince the prosecutor to do a deal and accept a plea of guilty to inattentive driving (or something equally innocuous) and she'll be sentenced to a few hours of community service. There's no way the American justice system will allow a well-known Christian bishop spend much time in jail for something as trivial as 'inattentive driving'.


Here she is (sober this time) touting for votes before she became bishop. In the video she says,

As bishop among you, it will be my special care to nurture all god's people...

But as we now know, that doesn't apply when she's drunk. When she's drunk she just runs over the bastards and leaves them to die alone!

Remember, you can't be good without god. Ask Heather Cook, she'll tell you.

The Muslims Call Them Fairies

Here's a picture of a macho Muslim with a full-growth beard. He's a Taliban chieftain named Haji Omar Khan who died in a military battle on New Year's eve in 2010 and now he's up in heaven fucking his 72 virgins.

But take a look at these next two ratbag Muslims. Have a look at the wispy little beard worn by the guy on the left - and the one on the right hasn't even got a beard. Do you know what that means to other Muslim terrorists who are virile enough to wear the required, full-growth, beard? It means that these two clowns are regarded as nancy boys. Their peers look at that wispy facial hair and immediately assume them to be not real men.

Said and Cherif Kouachi

The Kouachi brothers were well aware of their low status in the Muslim tribe so they tried to gain some respect among their peers by charging into an office where they killed twelve innocent victims - because that's something that most Muslims (hundreds of millions of them) truly respect. If you're a Muslim and you kill twelve non-muslims then you are practically guaranteed a place in heaven alongside Allah himself.

Unfortunately for these two clowns, however, they didn't have the full-growth beard that signifies true manhood and therefore, despite their bloody deeds, their fellow terrorists still regard them as little fairies who are beneath contempt.

All the other terrorists are sitting back in their comfortable homes, stroking their luxuriant beards, and laughing at the two gullible twits who fell under their spell.

"What a pair of dickheads," the other terrorists are saying to each other. "We were always going to laugh at the Kouachi brothers because they looked so much like lady-boys, but they went out and committed the crimes anyway! And now their lives are over. Who cares? Not us real Muslims, that's for sure."

Imam Khalid Yassin sums up the Muslim attitude to beardless terrorists:

The Kouachi brothers thought they would go down in history for killing twelve people, but the very next day their exploits were completely overshadowed by a ten year old girl who killed 18 and wounded another 19 in a Nigerian market place.

It shows just how pathetically manipulated were the ratbag Kouachi brothers when you realise that they were enticed into terrorism with the same brainwashing techniques used to recruit ten year old girls. We can understand how a ten year old girl might be convinced to die for the cause, but there is no excuse for the Kouachi clowns. They were just stupid.

Rockabilly Gal

Hayden Thompson started his recording career at Sun Studios under the guidance of Sam Phillips in 1956. As you probably know, many of early rock'n'roll's most famous artists (Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins) got their start at Sun Studios where they recorded some of the world's best known rockabilly tunes. Surprisingly, though, this song by Hayden Thompson - Rockabilly Gal - was the only one from Sun Studios that included the word 'rockabilly' in the title.

And nearly sixty years later Hayden Thompson is still going strong at the age of 76, and still singing the oldies like Rockabilly Gal. Here he is in France at the Good Rockin' Tonight concert in 2015:

A Christian Finds 4 Problems With Atheism

Atheists say there is no God. 

Some atheists do, indeed, say that there is no god, but many others (perhaps even the majority) say that they have no belief in god. They will change their mind if there is evidence for god's existence but, until then, they remain unconvinced.

However, we know from the Bible that Jesus has shown us humans that He does indeed exist. 

Blogger Richard is arguing in a circle: Christians say that Jesus exists because the bible tells them so, and we know the bible is true because Christians say it is.

So when an atheist says to you that there is no God, he is lying to you and maybe even to himself.

Not mistaken. Not uneducated. Not honestly misguided. Not unsure about the truth. None of those possibilities are considered by Richard who goes straight ahead and declares that the atheists are liars. Probably not the best way to make friends and influence people.

Blogger Richard now hides behind his bible and uses it to hurl more insults at the atheists. We hear so much about Christian love and tolerance yet here the Christian tells the atheists that they are useless, stupid, liars, living in the dark!

Most (if not all) atheists believe in evolution. 

Atheists don't just "believe" in evolution as an article of faith. There is good evidence for evolution and most atheists accept that evidence.

However, evolution is a failed idea that has been shown to be false day in and day out. 

Suppose the fossilized bones of a mammal were found in the Pre-Cambrian rock layer. If that happened the theory of evolution would be disproved and the person who made the discovery would probably win a Nobel Prize. Blogger Richard says evolution "has been shown to be false day in and day out" so perhaps he should present that falsifying evidence to the world. He will be hailed a hero by his Christian peers and will win the acclaim of scientists around the world.

Atheism is really built around evolution and the always-failing philosophy of humanism 

No, atheism is merely a lack of belief in god. Sure, many atheists accept evolution and many atheists are humanists but that has nothing to do with atheism itself. Atheism is just a lack of belief in god.

(how else are you going to try to justify there is no God and creation is just a myth?).

Once again, the atheist is not necessarily saying "there is no God". Many atheists go out of their way NOT to make that claim.

Have you noticed that while atheists say that there is no God, 

Very few atheists say "there is no God". And atheism, properly defined, is merely a lack of belief in god. Look at it this way: There are many Christians who believe that the communion wafer literally changes into the flesh of Jesus, but there are many others who think the change is symbolic and not literal. Also, there are many Christians who believe that infant baptism is the way to go, while other Christians think that baptism is not effective unless it is performed on someone old enough to understand what is happening. Clearly we cannot make a blanket statement and declare that ALL Christians believe this, that, or the other (because not all of them do). And neither can we claim that all atheists "say there is no God" because many of them do not.

No, that is not true. Atheists are well aware that god and Jesus are two different characters. God is a deity in which atheists do not believe, but most atheists (not all) think that Jesus Christ did exist. Not the miracle working Jesus who walked on water, but they do accept that there was an historical Jesus behind the gospel stories.

Why are they (most of the time) not talking about buddha or allah or some other false god? 

Blogger Richard is writing in America and that's why most atheists he knows are talking about the Christian god; because Christianity is the religion of 92% of the population in America. It is Christians who are telling American atheists that they are useless, stupid liars (see above) and so they respond to those specific attacks. Atheists in Iran will spend most of their time talking about Allah with hardly a thought for Yahweh; because Islam is the religion of (probably) 95% of the population in Iran.

In fact, I have never (except maybe once) heard an atheist talk about any other god except Jesus Christ. 

I'm surprised to hear that. There is not an atheist I know who has ever claimed that Jesus Christ was god. Sure, the atheists know that Christians claim that Jesus is god, but the atheists don't accept that claim. They regard Jesus as a man, not a god.

Why do athiests get angry with Jesus Christ (someone who they say does not exist)? Does that make any sense to you?

Actually, most atheists DO accept that Jesus existed and they are not angry with him. Except maybe that time when he said that unbelievers should have a millstone tied around their neck and they should be thrown into the ocean and drowned. (Matthew 18:6)

If I were to tell you that Star Trek was not fictional but in fact true, what would you do? You would probably laugh at me and/or just ignore me altogether. Would you get angry? Would you put up tons of blogs and websites saying how I am stupid and how I am weird? Of course not! Star Trek is fake, you know it, I know it, and there is no need to convince others (and maybe even ourselves) that Star Trek is fictional. If atheists really thought that Jesus Christ did not exist, they would not only NOT make Jesus a primary target, but they also would not have to try to convince people (and maybe themselves as well) that Jesus Christ does not exist.

Well the people who believe in Star Trek (or Santa, or pixies, or the Tooth Fairy) are not going door-to-door trying to convert others to their way of thinking. They are not lobbying Government to impose laws that will make life difficult for those who do not believe. They are not asking Government to give them tax-breaks while everyone else has to pay. They are not asking that science classes should include pixies as possible explanations for natural events. They are not asking that all children pray to the Spock before the start of each school day. They are not demanding that our courts dole out sentences in accordance with Star Trek law. Santa Claus believers, Trekkies, and Tooth Fairy followers don't do those things - but Christians do.

And here Blogger Richard repeats his earlier insults! Christian love and tolerance is more honored in the breach than the observance.

Many times, atheists use personal insults and maybe even vulgar language when talking with someone about Jesus Christ (who is a Christian). This type of attitude is a good sign that the atheist does not really have a good argument (if any) and is trying to make a point using insults and/or bad language instead of decent conversation. 

So far Blogger Richard has referred to the atheists as liars with useless thoughts and stupid minds cloaked in darkness. And now he goes on to say they are fools; they are corrupt; they have done abominable things, and none of them have ever done any good!

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” – Psalms 14:1 KJV

 

So Richard's point #4 could just as easily read:

Perhaps someone should remind Blogger Richard about Matthew 7:4 where Jesus says:

And before we forget the insulting words used by the Psalmist in his rant against the atheists, it is worth noting that Jesus Christ actually forbids anyone to call another person a fool. In Matthew 5:22 Jesus said:

"Anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell."

So where is the Psalmist today? Is he in heaven, or in hell?

This must be the dopiest news story of 2014:

Canisters packed with poisonous varieties of scorpion are being blasted into towns and villages, which explode on impact - scattering the scorpions and causing panic among the innocent local population.

Can you imagine ISIS soldiers out in the field with a pair of tweezers, turning over rocks and searching for scorpions? I wonder how long it takes to get a bomb-full? 

Or maybe it's a more commercial thing. Maybe they just pop down to the local scorpion farm to buy their supplies.

I wonder how many scorpions survive the impact explosion?

I wonder if the scorpions understand they are to remain in the open in order to create terror, or do they scamper under the nearest rock and keep out of sight so nobody knows they are there?

Is there any story silly enough not to find it's way into the tabloids?

Correctly interpreted it means I might as well just give up; a message that has been preached for nearly 2,000 years starting with Saint Paul in about 55AD when he said, If you were free when the Lord called you, you are now a slave of Christ. (1 Corinthians 7:22)

And sadly, there are hundreds of millions of pathetic Christians around the world who actually live their life as if that were true. They don't think; they don't question; they don't explore. They just do what they are told.

Christian Love and Tolerance #3

Jared Polis is a Democrat and a member of the United States House of Representatives for Colorado's 2nd congressional district.

Polis is politically opposed by Gordon Klingenschmitt who sits in the Colorado House of Representatives, having won the seat for Republicans with 70% of all votes in the 2014 elections.

Klingenschmitt also runs a Christian website called "The Pray In Jesus Name Project" and constantly sends out begging letters, asking his followers to send him money so that he may continue in his efforts to save the world from the forces of evil.

In August, 2014, he sent out an e-mail, warning his gullible followers that Congressman Jared Polis was engaged in a campaign of persecution against good Christian folk, and was actually planning to have Christians murdered: 

The open persecution of Christians is underway. Democrats like Polis want to bankrupt Christians who refuse to worship and endorse his sodomy. Next he’ll join ISIS in beheading Christians, but not just in Syria, right here in America.

Another fine example of Christian love and tolerance - more honoured in the breach than the observance.

Christians around America hailed Klingenschmitt as their new messiah and sent him bucket-loads of money because that's the sort of news they love to hear. They don't care if it's true or not. They are in love with the idea that they are being currently persecuted and that one day they might be martyred for their faith. It makes them feel like "brave little soldiers in the army of the Lord", and they are prepared to pay money to any Christian preacher who will pander to that fantasy.

Interestingly enough, there was only one beheading in America during 2014. 

The killer was a sweet young Christian (maybe a follower of Klingenschmitt) who decided that his friend wasn't showing quite enough devotion to the teachings of Jesus - so he cut his head off !

STILLWATER, Okla. – A 21-year-old Stillwater man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death of an area college student who, according to police, was nearly decapitated.

Isaiah Zoar Marin, 21,  is accused of using a “long knife or sword” to kill 19-year-old Jacob Andrew Crockett at an apartment in the 400 block of S. Oakdale in Stillwater.

Crockett’s brother, Jesse, told police Marin is a “heavy drug user” and “religious zealot,” according to the affidavit.

Marin’s brother, Samuel Marin, told police he and Isaiah were playing a card game and the victim was in the room with them.

The report says Samuel stated Isaiah had been watching YouTube videos related to his Christian beliefs.

During the card game, the affidavit claims Isaiah picked up a large black sword and began swinging it.

Samuel stated he heard a noise “described as the sound of someone getting stabbed. He stated he looked up and saw Jacob stand up and blood gushing from his chest.”

Samuel told police that Isaiah was still holding the knife.

At that point, the witness says he ran from the apartment.

He says Isaiah followed him, trying to calm him down and “would explain why he killed Jacob from letters he would write while he was in prison.”

Samuel told police Crockett and Isaiah had disagreements in the past.

He said Jacob Crockett and his brother, Jesse, “were practicing witchcraft and Isaiah had strong Christian beliefs.”
